PROFESSIONAL EAP COUNSELORS
All of our EAP counselors are licensed professionals in the mental health field. They include social workers, mental health counselors, psychologists and other mental health specialists. All have several years of experience dealing with a wide variety of personal problems. They are dedicated to helping you assess your situation and help you resolve your issues. They are particularly knowledgeable about the relationship between home and workplace, particularly how problems in one area can spill over into the other.
The EAP of Mount Auburn Hospital was the first in New England to be accredited by the Employee Assistance Society of North America (EASNA). We are proud to have met the strict standards of performance that this accrediting organization requires. Individual counselors maintain membership in the Employee Assistance Professional Association, National Association of Social Workers, and other professional organizations.
Some of our staff have taken advanced training in substance abuse and are qualified Substance Abuse Professionals. As such, they meet the requirements of the Department of Transportation for services to individuals and organizations.
